Hi Tushar When you boot linux in single user mode. Give following command to change your HDD mode to read write again:- # mount -t ext3 -n -o,remount,rw /dev/hda7 / where, ext3 is your filesystem /dev/hda7 is your root partition Also check the Boot log message to know the problem. Regards Jas
