I dont know about Java/JSP but where I work we dont
have to worry too
much about IDE's The HTML is done in Dreamweaver and
the perl code is
limited to method calls embedded as ASP tags so
nothing gets messed up.
Can this be done?How?

also installed mplayer - then I started getting skips.
I also installed mplayer and gmplayer in RH8.0 - very

I think, you have tried to install the latest GCC
version from PCQ 8.0, and there seems to be clashes
with the libraries. Its generally not a good idea to
touch the system compiler, and PCQ 7.1 uses GCC 2.96.
One thing you could try is installing the older
version back from the PCQ 7.1 CD.
