[IMail Forum] mail-abuse.org subscriptions and Declude Junkmail

2003-03-17 Thread Keith W. Schoenly
I've heard a lot of good things about Declude Junkmail on this list. Are most of you Declude users also subscribed to RBL and OSRSS lists? What I want to determine is whether Declude Junkmail is worth using without the mail-abuse.org subscriptions, or whether those subscriptions provide the

2003-01-20 Thread Keith W. Schoenly
Since we upgraded to 7.13, web messaging is not displaying images correctly when we send out HTML emails to our clients. The email headers are formatted as HTML and these emails displayed fine before we upgraded from 6.05 (they continue to display fine for our Outlook users). Let's say for

[IMail Forum] Error in tag execution

2003-01-16 Thread Keith W. Schoenly
We just moved Imail Server 6.05 data to a new machine (also 6.05). Since the move, everything is working fine except that web messaging is showing an Error in tag execution message when some users try to enter their mailbox. I found a knowledgebase article

RE: [IMail Forum] OT: strange directory

Sorry to dredge up an old, OT topic. We ran into this same situation this morning. I was able to delete all but one of the directories using the method below. However, unlike the others, the remaining directory doesn't display any true name when I do a dir /x command; that column is blank for

We ran into this situation also. We ended up switching from ServerObjects' ASPMail to SoftArtisan's SMTPMail component, which DOES support SMTP authentication. http://www.softartisans.com/smtpmail.html I'm sure there are other good COM components that also support authentication, but we've had

[IMail Forum] Open Relay question

2002-10-08 Thread Keith W. Schoenly
Of the five primary Relay Options that Imail provides (for anyone, no relay, for local hosts, for local users, for addresses) is relay for anyone the only option that is technically considered an open relay? We've always used relay for local hosts, but several months ago someone spammed a huge

[IMail Forum] Web Mail auto shut-down whenver we view a specific email message

2002-01-09 Thread Keith W. Schoenly
I'm curious is anyone else has run into this problem. Yesterday, one of our clients received an email message. Each time they (or we) attempt to view this message using the web interface, web messaging immediately SHUTS DOWN. This is not the first time we've seen this happen. Over the two
