We had a similar combo setup (IMail/SMSSMTP) for about
a year prior to finally switching to Merak. The combo
worked OK, but inability to handle dictionary attacks
and lack of flexibility ultimately killed it.
Two things to look carefully at:
1. Double check your local DNS config. SMSSMTP relies

I agree with Dev 100 percent, check your local DNS settings. You will
need to have an entry for the host name of the Imail server. We had a

Hello all,
I've mentioned this before, but still haven't identified a cause or solution.
As mail passes through the iMail anti-spam filters, we add an X-IMAIL-SPAM
header to them when they fail a test. Then we have an inbound rule that routes
that mail to a spambox within the user's account.

I'm sorry, I actually totally goofed that description. I pulled an all-nighter
last night-- be easy on me!
What I meant to say was that we have the X-IMAIL-SPAM redirector rule in the

Hi all -
I am trying to get a list of users in a listserv. I am sending a
message to [EMAIL PROTECTED], with List Listname in the body.
I am only getting back the name of the digest users and not the
subscribed users.
I need to get the subscribers list. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Hallo Kris,
check for the file 'config_DefaultLanguage.cgi' in your web-dir.
This file contains the default language of the web mail. The string inside of

I need to jump in here with a question. My 'config_DefaultLanguage.cgi' is

Thanks,

I believe the limit is 254 or 255 characters. So as many email addresses as
you can fit in that, including delimiters.
I remember there being an article in the knowledge base on this.

You do that in one of 2 ways:
The traditional Store and forward way by using the KB on the Ipswitch site.
The alias way where each user has an alias on the Imail server which then

Sounds like you had a rough time with this.

I added rplemail.ruralpress.com to the local hosts file. I also increased

Last night at about 9pm I switched back over to using SMSSMTP and it hasn't
played up again since.
I'm still curious as to why it would

Thanks all for the advise!
I have found a neat little utility (just a script really) that allows you to
schedule defrags in win2000.
It's called Autodefrag, and I guess it's been around for awhile.

Hi All!
Most of us on the list have been wrestling with

FWIW, I've had bad experiences with OO defrag about 2 yrs ago on an
