Howdy all
Using FP2000
I have created a web form that sends entered info to a email
this email then forwards it to an email that is off the domain, my wireless
email pager. I Get the text on my phone.
I can send to this Email address from home and I get the message on my
phone.
I can send to
I Have set Up a user "pager" this forwards to my Web Messageing service.
When I send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] from my Emial program "outlook" I
recieve the message in my phone. No Problem.
However I have a web form that will send to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
this does not work. It will work fine
Howdy

form?
Thanks

to your question, no... you cannot HTML-format an auto-responder
message, because you have no control over the headers.

use Nobody in the aliases, and have it point to the mail box of your
selection, I have found it to work better when using the full mail box name
IE([EMAIL PROTECTED]) instead of just the user name

How do you set up I mail or NT4 iis4 to send a form from a web page to an
email address.I have made a application form page with Front page 2000, it
sends to a txt file and an email address, I keep getting a front page error.
any ideas on how to make this work properly?

The form Is a .htm,
I believe the problem lie with the smtp server set up, either in iis, or
imail. I don't know, At one point I had the form working but am not sure
which correction to the e server started it, as I can't seem to duplicate.
The form works fine with out sending to an email, if it
'til you drop.

Does anyone know how to have the same user name at different ip addresses.
I am using virtual domains
I:e:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] on ip 000.000.000.001
[EMAIL PROTECTED] on ip 000.000.000.002
It seems that when I pull email for [EMAIL PROTECTED] the email for
[EMAIL PROTECTED] also gets pulled in
Would this be the top directory in the mail admin under each virtual domain?
And can I just change it there?
for example it is currently c:\imail
should i make it c:\imail\virtualdomainname
for each virtual domain name
or is altogeather something different?

Ok um sorry to be silly but
How do you do that?
"no. You have to tell Imail where to put the files, per each mailhost."
