Oh, I am sorry - yes, for linking ID , the guideline for one image per post
is the best option .
But I think, more than one image of the same plant / flower for better
clarificatin , is allowed.

The sun paper tree (Ficus asperrima) could be a typo for sand paper tree.

Kindly take care that two separate mails should not have same subject
line. There are lot of chances of replies getting mixed up. It would be best
to upload your photographs to be the same species, photographs can be
 uploaded in the same thread.

Some how I am not very confident about the identification with S.
setisperma. Firstly the photograph at FOI and that uploaded by Narupa ji
don't look identical. One at FOI has much greener calyx and veins don't seem
merging towards apex. The one uploaded by Nirupa ji has paler calyx (almost
cream colour) with veins clearly uniting above. Unfortunately both don't
 have leaves to confirm.
Fortunately your photographs are more illustrative and resemble the
plant uploaded by Nirupa ji, but is it S. setisperma?

The name Silene setisperma was given by Majumdar for species earlier known
as Lychnis inflata (Wall. ex Don) Benth. (because there was already a
species by the name of Silene inflata). The plant has elliptic to lanceolate
leaves, lower petiolate. In your plant the leaves are clearly ovate, with
 sessile perhaps cordate base.

Perhaps some more comparison is needed.

   Hello,

I would like to bring to light a factor which I perceive to be
relevant and that is the historical confusion between Ipomoea digitata
   and Ipomoea mauritiana.

Ipomoea digitata and Ipomoea mauritiana are both legitimate species
but descriptions of the 2 contain sufficient over-lapping features to
   instill confusion.

So far , I have been unable to (with any certainty) distinguish
between Ipomoea digitata and Ipomoea mauritiana and photos on the web
using both epithets appear to be the same plant.

I have seen Ipomoea digitata listed as a synonym of Ipomoea mauritana
and Ipomoea mauritiana listed as a synonym of Ipomoea digitata.

Here are a couple synonyms I have for Ipomoea digitata :
   Ipomoea rubrocincta
   Ipomoea paniculata var. digitata

Here is the list of synonyms I have for Ipomoea mauritiana :
   Synonym:Ipomoea ennealoba
   Synonym:Ipomoea eriosperma
   Synonym:Ipomoea insignis
   Synonym:Ipomoea eriosperma
   Synonym:Ipomoea paniculata

A check for both names inhttp://ipni.org/ipni/plantnamesearchpage.do
   may prove useful

There are various subtypes listed for Ipomoea digitata

The both species are considered to have originated in the new world
tropics and spread around the globe from there.

I perceive that Ipomoea mauritiana must be clearly distinguished from
Ipomoea digiitata before any definitive ID's can be arrived at for
   these 2 similarly featured species.

I hope my thoughts on the matter may be of some value...

   regards,

   Ron
