At first it looked like a possible solution. The CPU-usage is higher
with iperf running (from ~6% to ~25%).
But when i run "stress" to throttle up the cpu to 100%, the speed of the
copying process is not getting faster.
Only with iperf running the files are cop
This might be a long shot, but maybe the cpu on one or both PCs is being
throttled (reduced clock speed) because of a power setting and running
iperf causes it to throttle up?
