Hi, I've attempted some possible solutions. - updating BMC firmware (ver.: 0.57) - updating BIOS - reinstall IPMItool (ver. 1.8.11) By any chance, may I need additional hardware connector for power supply? During BIOSBMC firmware update, BMC didn't automatically detect any power supply. Thus,

It may recognize the power supply but it does not mean there is an electrical bridge between the IPMB bus and PSMI bus. Check with your vendor that bridging between the two buses is supported. On Wed, Sep 21, 2011 at 8:22 PM, S. H. Lee smil...@korea.ac.kr wrote: Hi, I've attempted some

A technical supporter of the vendor said that SR1690WBR - my server model - contains a bridge between IPMB and PSMI. But, he doesn't know the reason why BMC cannot recognize a power supply. Thanks, From: Hank Bruning [mailto:h...@jblade.com] Sent: Thursday, September 22, 2011 9:31 AM To:

Correction the TDPS-600CB C Rev S2F does have the PMBus connector. I know that there are some older Rev S0F supplies that don't seem to have a functioning PMBus. Again, check your PSU. -Original Message- From: Hall, Eric R [mailto:eric.r.h...@intel.com] Sent: Wednesday, September 21,

When you updated the SDR, which chassis did you specify? Did the SDR utility display a message about PS1 and PS2 being present or not? These servers do not support PSMI power supplies. They only support PMBus 1.1 power supplies for power sensors. Randy Schafer EPSD Firmware Engineering Intel

My power supply is Delta DPS-650SB. I think that TDPS-600CB may be the closest model. TDPS-600CB may be a OEM product for Intel FSR1520PS. It is hard to find a specification document. Additionally, I've checked that IPMB connector on my motherboard is connected with another IPMI connector on a

When I updated the SDR, I chose Intel SR1690WB since the actual model is SR1690WBR. SDR utility displayed a message for PS1 and PS2 as 'no power supply'. Therefore, I checked SSI power supply manually. Then, doesn't SR1690WBR support PSMI power supplies? If SR1690WBR supports PMBus 1.1 power
