Not too long, you have to switch to the 1000-2000 KHz band when you get to

No problem at all 0620UT here in Victoria on
I've heard clear sweep tones at 0019, and possibly
some tones. It was fain at first but now have a beter
null, and helps when WSM music switches to talk. One
or more others in the null, suspect MN with EE talk.
Signal srikes me as too weak for an ID, I'll be lucky
if can get that. Will sick it out
KMTI being heard very easily here at only 358 miles. Definitely dominant
although I can still hear WSM in the background. WSM was dominant on the
E-W heading before the KMTI power / pattern change playing The Man In
Black by Johnny Cash. KGAB is, of course, dominant on the N-S heading at
only 90
Had the DX-398 out and dialed up 650 to hear KMTI and at 2344 Mtn. AZ
time was hearing sweep tones. Getting past the Mexican station from
Los Mochis.

What a great test, lots of sweep tones, and code barely making it through a
strong WSM, so a new one tonight. If WSM was a talker KMTI would fare
better.

After 46 minutes of frustration, KMTI-650 test finally heard with sweep tones
thru WSM at 0246 EDT. Big thanks to Joe, Les, Barry, Jim, Brandon in the
mwdx chat room. And of course John Tucker for visiting the station and Doug
Barton at KMTI!!
