Another one bites the dust, but at least these guys didn't have (to my
knowledge) tremendous coverage like stations like CBA had so the move to FM
may not harm their coverage. Anyhow, this will make it easier to hear
TalkSport 1089 here on TA nights with KAAY phased.

WZFN 1100 is on the air with country and western music. Very weak snowy
signal for 50kw if that's what they are putting out. I am using a Sanserino
loop and a GE SuperadioII. As a comparison, KKAG 740, KFGO 790 and WDAY 970
all come in much stronger and all three are loud and clear
WGRA Cairo, GA has a PLAN for 110 Watts Non Directional for NIGHTS and
even though you are REQUIRED to notify the FCC that you are using your
PLAN night power, doesn't mean a station has notified the FCC.
WGRA could very well be on the air legally after sunset.

790 CUBA parts unknown - 4/8 0300 - Two Radio Reloj tickers out
of synchronization, the first one loud per usual, the other one much
weaker with the audio running about a second behind the biggie. A
double top-of-the-minute chime and RR ... RR noted consistently on

Tried here in Barrington 527 miles from their tx but not much of anything
audible on 1100 with WTAM phased except traces of talk and trace of occ mx
too weak to even tell what it was. I tried from 1605 to 1625 CDT and gave
up. Rather noisy rainy cx not helping me get things thru the IBOCed
VT station on 1070? I don't see anything listed in the NRC log. Did I
miss a new one?
As others mentioned, it's actually licensed to NY. What I was thinking when
I wrote that was Vermont area station. The ads seem to ba aimed at VT and
not NY.
