Listened from 1525-1543 utc. Only 3 stations with audio this morning. Kind of
surprise that lower channel station HLSA 603 was one of them.

Hi Dennis,
Thanks for your report this morning.
A little earlier than you were listening (around 1450-1510) both the low and
high band had some good signals here, with 603-China mixing with HLSA at a
decent level before the 1500 TOH, and 1593-CNR1 fairly strong (in splatter)
around 1455.
Hello All,
Asian signals rebounded quite well here from yesterday's dreary session, with
several low and high band TP's showing some energy from 1430-1510.
My session started off at 1430 in the frozen back yard, with 1566-HLAZ the
strongest of the Asians (very good) along with 1575-VOA

1575 very poor 1459 utc
1593 very poor/poor 1450 utc.

Hi All:
WBES, 950, Charleston, WV, Fox Sports, may have been off yesterday because of
the storm or may have been running reduced power. They seem to be on today, but
with a very poor signal. WKDN, WCTN, WIBX (the lest two being new here) both
noted mixing with others 2/3, 1700 EST, but no

I know we're mainly hobbyists on these lists, but we do have a few

I can not remember the last time I have heard WSAI (or any of its predecessors)
1360 Cincinnati at night (maybe never), but tonight it is dominating the
frequency. WSAI is 5 kw ND days and 5 kw directional nights. There signal has a
huge null toward the entire Upper Midwest, so perhaps they
Quite strong here too on the 2010. I believe this will get out well

A very Chinese morning with enhancement on the top of the band
earlier and the bottom of the band a little later. Most things
peaked by 1520UT, but 639 was a powerful straggler on the half hour.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):

It never fails. Whenever I compare my TP DX with Dennis and Gary's
reports, it's like we're talking about different days.
Today was really interesting in several ways. The upper and lower
halves of the band behaved completely differently. Signals below about

And, different again up here Bruce. One similarity is that the
upper band peaked early, but I had a later lower band peak that you
missedand there was little here before 1500UT.

It wasn't a matter of missing the later low band peak - I checked the
SDR files and there was nothing on the lower part of the dial after
about 1400, let alone at 1500 or 1530.

Sorry I didn't convey that well, Bruce. I meant that Seattle missed
the low band peak; if it had been there, you would have found it, I'm sure!
