Les - My late father asked me every year if they still made White's Log,
even up until last year. At his funeral, his stepson remarked to me that
he told Dad that he loved radio and the White's Radio Log and they talked
about it each time they were together.

owner is retiring and the transmitter site is worth more as something else.

1500. Yes, it could be a daytimer so I decided to listen to my local WBRI
(Indianapolis) to see if it may be the one. Their Feb. sign off time is
1815.
So at 1815, in one of their half hour Rel programs, the signal

Tuned in from 0158-0210 and I did not hear anything resembling sweep tones
or CW ID's. Did it run? The Brookneal, VA GY DX Test was very loud and I
had success with the Seymour, TX GY DX Test, so why not this one? Anyone?

Although Saul ID'd this as TN, my local SS station on 810 (WSYW) is still
signing on, when it shouldn't. I know many of you are probably tired of me
being a broken record, blabbing about a busted radio station but they are
signing on at 5:15 AM (s/b no earlier than 6, WITH PSRA) and off at 19:15

some oddities. I knew about the non-traditional ways of tuning, I knew

they were off. The FCC doesn't care either: WMOB 1360 runs day power,
every night. My local Spanish outfit on 810 signs on like it is June (!)

I will most likely never be getting a Perseus but I do hope to take
advantage of timer recordings using a PC and audio software, for DX.
Hoping for Es on FM the other day, I recorded a two hour block of 92.7,
using Audacity. No skip.
Now I'm thinking about recording MW signals near the top of
Tuned in at 0135 EDT and heard rock music w/CW IDs @ 0138 0145. Poor but
a new one!

Is there any way of locking the PL 606's thumbwheel tuning into the fast
tuning mode? ie - 10 KHz per change vice 1 KHz per? If not, I could add
all Domestic frequencies to the memory (530-1700) and scroll through them
in VF mode.

Glenn Hauser listened to my 770 KHz recordings and believed them to be
Rebelde. My recordings also had 26 pips at the TOH. So Mike Westfall most
likely had Rebelde. I did not check 670 to see if it was // to 770.

While trying for the KRPI 1550 WA DX test, I caught a singing ID / jingle
at about 0412 EST. Using Barry's fuzzy call sign lookup, WSDK-CT is the
only fuzzy match for my mythical WSBA. WSDK is a REL station. Most REL

and @ 1759 et, they powered down! I think that they could be on until
1815. They had been on the July s/on s/off schedule. Wonder how long it

They have had timer / automation issues for months. Sign off should be
1730 EST but they are on at least until 2015. Slogan is La Joya (sounds
like hoya).
