Pat, Have you been to Norvac electronics in Beaverton. They have a nice supply of electronics stuff. There no more expensive than Radio Shack and they have name brands. When there last week to buy some DeoxIt gold, bnc connectors and Pl-259 plugs. Would be interest to know some electronics

Dennis Electronics parts stores are on the decline around here, but there's Vetco in Bellevue. Frys in Renton has a parts department as well (in addition to the computer stuff , TVs, audio, books, appliances etc). I think ABC Communications in Shoreline is still around, but it's not open
