That is true. The networks on TV want the protection, but radio has
increased to value a lot more in recent years, so I think the big boys
are looking in the same direction.

I have heard for years that less than 10% of radio listeners listen to
AM these days. That is still a lot of listeners, but many more listen to
FM. I have another non radio friend, Carey who listens to local FM
stations. He never listens to AM. He hasn't in years. First of all he

Bonneville has also done FM on KTAR 620 in Phoenix and moved the news
to 92.3. KTAR 620 does ESPN sports and 860 KMVP here is stunting. I
wonder what the new format will be. They do run IBAC on 860.
We already know they did it on WTOP as well as KSL.

860 Phoenix is IBOC too? I thought the only AMer in your market running
IBOC was 550. So far 1190 and 1330 Portland are running it and 850 in
Tacoma.
