I have a question - i am searching for a example/sample where i can have a
html representation of a form which can have Javascript valdiations(client

Yes, the assemblies can be used on 4.0 and 4.5. (Just did a quick Hello
World test on the 4.5 RC).
Are you planning on using iTextsharp for Metro apps? I'm not certain how
iText will behave in Metro applications.

As for your problem:
- can you open the PDF in other browsers?
- if not, have you tried opening it from the filesystem instead of
sending it to the browser?
If your PDF can be opened, it's not iText related. Try updating the PDF
viewer in IE, re-in

the 4.0 or 4.5 .Net Frameworks
Are the iTextSharp assemblies supported to run on both .Net 4.0 and 4.5?
