The problem may be that a "feature" of Netscape is that reloading a page in
Netscape does _not_ reload any associated applets.
I think if you want to force it to reload applets you need to do something
like hold down the control key (or something like that) while clicking on
reload, or alternatel

Hi,
I have the following problem with applets and netscape:
Linux: slackware 3.5
Java: jdk1.1.6.v2
Netscape 4.07
when I load for the first time one of applets in netscape everything
is ok. Now, when I want to rerun or reload the same applet (an applet
which plots a function), netscape don't do

I just downloaded 13 MB Swing-1.1 beta 3 zip file. I am unzipping
now. I believe it expands to 47Mb ! (Gulp) My goodness. Why are there

For Xsql 2.1.7p01 you need Swing 1.1 beta 2
This is how the author of Xsql (moi) has set up the CLASSPATH
at work with ``sparc-sun-solaris2.5.5''

sorry about that
ok here it is

setenv SWING_HOME /home/swing-1.1beta3
setenv CLASSPATH

You CLASSPATH should be defined in your shell like this:
JAVA_HOME=/usr/local/jdk1.1.6
SWING_HOME=/usr/local/swing-1.0.3
CLASSPATH=.:${SWING_HOME}/swing.jar:${SWING_HOME}/motif.jar:${SWING_HO

It's a good thing to describe the _exact_ problem. What is your CLASSPATH
setting? What is your swing home directory? What is your JDK home directory?
What is the exact message you get? Plz, if you want an answer, make sure the

version?The thing is that only me got that pro
