Could someone please claify. In the past day I have seen on this list
references to "jdk117_v2_x86-glibc2.0 prerelease" and and "jdk117_v2". Are
these still pre-releases of the jdk117 that will run with glibc version 2.2
(i.e.RedHat 6.0) or is there still a FINAL release pending.
Thanks for you

I'm curious; on the new JDK 1.2 status page, it says that if one knows of any
bugs not listed there, one should report them.
Well, what about the Jitterbug? Should I re-report bugs that are not on the

Hi,
Please excuse me for the lack of knowledge obvious in this question; I
haven't ever worked with the JVM source. Also, I suppose this applies to
all JVMs, but I'm interested in the Linux implementation, because, really,
what else is there? :)

I think it would be nice if Insignia's site actually said something :-).

"variety of processors such as..." x86, but when I try to ferret out

much. I have seen some literature on JDBC and am interested in this technology.

I am trying to write a application that allows you to fax from the client to a
Linux Fax Server using Java component. Has anyone done this?

I think that might be a java specific question you might want to pose with
source code to an advanced-java mailing list.
Good luck.

Hi,
More details would be needed about your exact application / problem domain, but I've
done exactly what you're describing, and here's one combination of pieces you can put
