I think you amy want to untar
the additional-ipaq-stuff at the root directory, i mean "/", not "/root&qu
unzip additionsl-ipaq-stuff.tar.gz in the root directory. This will put the library and X-stuff where it needs to be.
then run ldconfig to configure the run-time bindings, and the jre should be able to find the libBrokenLocal library
