n't you write a small C program to launch a Java program, catch
signals and acton upon it (restart JVM, whatever). Maybe this has been
discussed before, I haven't been following this thread

Linux server to serve webpages and =guess what= Java servlets. I've tried a
couple of webservers that support servlets (including vqServer and Jigsaw),
but Java WebServer doesn't sound too bad either.

The last one to get the goodies? You gotta see things in perspective. We (the
Linux community) have a rocksolid OS, a great Java
y JUMP (Java Ultimate Math Package), available
under the LGPL from:

Sounds like a problem with class loaders. But everything is in one big

Fre

solution all three parties are happy with. Maybe Sun and Inprise
should offer Blackdown resources and support and let Blackdown do
what they're best at: Write a great JDK port!

Hi Chris,
Looks good. It valuable to me. It's also viewable on lynx, that's a pro
IMHO. I run FreeBSD btw, I'll try to run one of the Linux JDK 1.2
implementations on my FreeBSD 3.2 box one of these days.
I'll be watching jlinux!
