Well first of all folks I'm not going to post a program on my web site that
is in any way harmful to your computer. Next of course each and every
program is going to be screen reader friendly as well. I mean think about
it for a minute what the name of the list and web site are called. Add

I can't say for sure, but here's what I think for what it's worth. It most
likely has something to do with how your system is set to receive email
messages. I pick up mine as HTML where others might use plain text. Check
your settings out to see if that might make a difference.

There is an audio tutorial up on the site done very well by miss Sarah that
should fill the bill.

Hi folks:
I'm trying to download a year-end bank statement in pdf format using JAWS. I'm
only getting part of the statement. I've tried this on two different computers
and the statement is cut off at exactly the same place on both systems.
At the suggestion of the FS folks, I went to
Have you ascertained whether or not some of the information in the PDF is
photographic? If it is, you'll be out of luck. Unless you happen to have
Kurzweil and can print the document via the KESI Virtual Printer. Perhaps
OpenBook has a similar feature, but I'm not aware of it.
Hi William,
I'm not sure if this is possible with the regular Adobe Reader, but if it
is, try saving the document as an html file.
This will negate any accessibility issues you might have.
I always find that once I've saved the document in html format, I can do

Could you ask the bank to fax the documents to you? Or send them as an e
mail? Or could you go to the bank and insist that they give you a photocopy
which you could scan at home? marilyn

I'm running jaws 8, and I still have Jaws 7.1 on my computer, and XP home.
Should I go back to Yahoo 7?

Hi All:
I am currently running Jaws 6.2, which is a very stable version of Jaws. I am
licensed to be able to upgrade to Jaws 7.1. My question is: Based on others
experiences with 7.1, is it worth it? The only real feature that I would like
is to be able to use Firefox with Jaws. But, if
Hi John,
By comparison, I have found that 6.2 is definitely more stable than 7.1,
of course that is on my systems.
I would say give 7.1 a try, and if you find that it doesn't play nice on
your system, then go back to 6.2.
I have versions 4.51 thru 8.0 installed on this particular machine, and I

William, I see your point. Sometimes I do things the hard way when there is
no other way. If the bank sent you the pages as a fax, could you open a new
e mail message and copy paste back and forth with your categories? Send the
e mail to yourself. Good luck with this vexing issue. marilyn
