My work computer somehow installed Windows Media player version 11 during an
upgrade and I've had no problems. As you, I was hesitant to upgrade based
on what I had heard. I will upgrade at home too. I am running Win XP Pro
and JAWS 8. Hope this helps

I remember a long time ago (maybe JAWS 6 or something) I accessed some of
the JAWS training materials with the FS Daisy reader. I tried this with
JAWS 8 and it only reads things with the standard JAWS voice. I never did
anything special in version 6. Is there something special
I've upgraded to Adobe Acrobat reader version 8. Anyone know the key
commands to know how many pages are in the pdf document and the key combo to

The problem with almost any of these programs is that they very well may
remove things that you _don't_ want removed. Some will remove the Internet
Explorer history, for example, or _all_ cookies and I never want either
deleted.
