Hi list,
I have downloaded Internet Explorer 7 onto my desktop. When I run this file to
install I E 7, does that automatically replace I E 6? I read on the list
before, if I want to later uninstall I E 7, then internet explorer 6 will
automatically come back-is this true? I take it then, I
Hi Rick thanks for your reply.
MSN is not a problem most of the time and when it does crash, it might not

Hi list,
my Norton internet security is due for renewal in a few weeks. Is Norton 2007
still not accessible with Jaws? I am using Jaws Pro 8.0 and windows XP.
I haven't been online for a long time due to work and uni, so will be catching

Hi everyone,
thanks to everyone who helped me with my log-in screen problem at work. I got
it worked out. Although, one time when trying to log in again, Jaws seemed to
not read the item I was on properly. Hopefully this wont happen again. The
problem I have now, is on a similar topic i.e Jaws
of the
Programs submenu of the Start menu, delete it from there. The next time
the PC starts, you should find the logon screen reads.

Hi list,
I think this issue was mentioned on the list before, but forgot the information
on it. At work, They use a log-in screen to get into the system. Jaws doesn't
read this screen. I therefore have a not so fun time trying to log in. I think

I have a windows update ready to be installed in my system tray. I think it

If you like having your RSS and podcast feeds in one place, you'll dig the

Hi list,
as I mentioned a week or so ago, I was faced with having to upgrade my Jaws
standard, to Jaws Pro, since my work are running Windows XP Pro. I could keep
running my Jaws standard in 40 minute demo, but decided to avoid the hassle. I
wonder why FS don't just sell Jaws Pro, since my Jaws
This is good to know, as I usually have to do a defrag first and then review
the defrag report at the end, which gives your used and remaining disc
space.
These instructions are obviously a lot faster.

Hi Doug,
I'm using an Acer Travelmate too, all be it 7 years old smile. I have only

Hi list,
have had a problem with using Jaws and MSN messenger. When chatting to a
friend, a message came up saying I needed to install flash player, in order to

Hi list,
I have noticed something with the Jaws find command (control F) with Jaws 8.0.
Usually when I search for a word, phrase or numeral etc, Jaws would read the
sentence in which the found occurrence of the search string is found. This lets
you know, if that occurrence of the search string,

need to ask a question. I was installing Jaws 8.0 onto a desktop at work. This
was my first time installing Jaws at work. Until now, I have been using my

Hi list,
I have just installed Jaws 8.0 on to my home desktop. WOW, that was the longest
Jaws install I think I have ever done smile. A couple of questions I have
though. After the install was finished and I did the required reboot of my
computer, I put the second Jaws 8.0 disk in, so as to
to completely remove at least jaws7 from the laptop,
before re-installing it. (Repairing JAWS rarely works for such problems.)

Hi list,
I need a reminder. Where do you go, in order to find out what programs Jaws
