[JAWS-Users] A PDF Problem
Hi folks: I'm trying to download a year-end bank statement in pdf format using JAWS. I'm only getting part of the statement. I've tried this on two different computers and the statement is cut off at exactly the same place on both systems. At the suggestion of the FS folks, I went to Adobe preferences, internet, then made sure the file wasn't being displayed in my internet browser, which is IE 6. I got the same results. The statement is according to the website, fifteen pages. When I read the last page that JAWS displays, it says page fifteen of twenty-six. I know there's a pie chart in this statement, but I don't believe it's located where my file ends. So far, I haven't been able to get any help from the bank, so any information/suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I've come to the unhappy conclusion that even for any kind of reading where there's technical details, those voices are inadequate. Yes, they're kind of cool, and perhaps if I were reading a hovel they'd be fine, but with the inflection etc. I find it hard to quickly identify names etc. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of David Ferrin Sent: Friday, February 02, 2007 1:11 PM To: jaws-users-list@googlegroups.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re: Real Speaks Well even Eric says that little fact. That is unfortunately the trade off for having more natural sounding voices. Change it in the jaws window miss Becky. If you need more detailed directions just give a yell. Isn't it in the verbosity that I change the Say All voice? I've done it once, but now can't find it.
