Sarah suggested that many besides her have suggested turning off the
e-mail scanning feature in antivirus programs.
I think she's right on this. I've turned mine off for years when I used
Norton, and I never had a problem. Yes, viruses were caught in time,
but they were caught by the main
So your saying that AVG is not a active virus scanner in the
background, and that you have to do manual scans or set it to do a daily scan?
To me that is not a very good fighter against threats that come from anywhere.

this does not disable your virus
if your using OutLookExpress for your email. I wouldn't turn off any
virus protection program. Because that program is a Microsoft
product. it is targeted for viruses, and has many ways to let a virus

I just recently received an XP Windows Media Center computer. Could
someone point me in the direction of where I might find a list of short
cuts for the media center portion. I'm particularly interested in being
able to play and catalog music, watch, record and burn tv programs and

I tried to find this but I couldn't find it.
I looked in the user option, the text section, it wasn't there either.
Can someone let me know what section to find it in?

What about copy and paste? I believe there's a copy to folder and move to
folder commands, under the file menu, under the folder submenu I think. Hope
that helps.

Highlight the folder and do a control shift v to move and then select the
folder you want to move that folder to. If it is in the main folder you
want to move them to, just hit your home key and it shouldsay personal
folder, so you can press enter on that.
