The benefit I can think of is that JAWS will not be in the alt tab list, so if you have multiple applications open you can alt tab to them without alt tabbing to JAWS. I like JAWS in my system tray, but some people prefer it in the taskbar. It's just personal preference. Chris Hallsworth
