Interesting. It shows you how varied and annoying computers can be. My experience is the exact polar opposite. Since I moved to plain text emails Jaws reads everything fine but in html things are much more unpredictable. I guess you have to find what works best on your system. Regards David

Hi Mich, Try this. 1. Open address with control, shift, plus b while in OE. 2. Tab 2 times and make sure that Main Identities Contacts is checked and not Shared Contacts. If Shared Contacts is checked arrow down 1 time to Main Identities Contacts and that should fix the problem. Mike

You could reinstall WinAmp to remove the error message I guess but this will not prevent Jaws interrupting music for other reasons. If WinAmp continues to work despite the error message then perhaps you could use another approach. You could set up a mute key in Jaws. I personally use Control plus
