[JAWS-Users] Placing Cue Points in Gold Wave

2008-12-22 Thread Victor
Hi Folks, I'm using Goldwave 5.25, latest build of the scripts, and a laptop running Windows XP SP3 and Jaws 9, latest build. Can anyone tell me how to place cue points into a long file. I have a four hundred minute audio file in MP3 that I need to split up into smaller tracks. I believe I

Actually, the graphics labeler seems to work without routing the PC cursor to JAWS- even though you had to do that several versions ago. I am however confused by the directions to press Control-Insert-GO, instead of Control-Insert-G. Can someone clarify? Thanks. Cher -Original

A student had it about 3 years ago and we eventually removed it due to the difficulty of accessing and focus problems with JAWS. Could not recommend based on this limited exposure. Cher -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com

Hi Victor, When I've done cue points before, Jaws didn't say anything, but when I split the file, it seemed to have put the cue points where I wanted them. So the answer to your question is, even though Jaws doesn't tell you it's adding them, the points are there. Hth! On 12/22/08, Victor

You can't turn off the voice's own internal dictionary. (You can only modify it, as you have done, by over-riding its speech within the .jdf.) I suspect that FS will have to do the same, if there's enough knowledge or demand for such changes, so as to cater for different voices. there are
