Listers,
I can't get Jaws to read the buttons in vista64 bit when using mobile device
center. My brother tells me that all the buttons are there but Jaws can't
see them.
Has anyone else had this problem when using mobile device center and Vista64
bit? If so, were you able to fix it?
Are there any recommended settings for Jaws in Windows 7?
I have looked at the FS website, with no joy.
Thanks in advance,
Rick Justice

Try up arrow or left arrow. The down arrow is only for items searched.

Hi Guys.
Anyone that uses windows7 but doesn't like the standard start menu may
want to try classic shell, a link to which is provided further down this

I am finding it rather annoying, to say the least.

You can easily pin items to the start menu using the applications
key. Go to programs, to the one you want on the menu, press the
applications key, and press enter on 'pin to start menu'. the
program will be listed immediately under the search window, or under

Windows 7 is very much a memory hog and a processor hog. There are some
things you can do to eliminate items from starting up when you start
windows. I usually go to the registry and start deleting values. Let me know
if you're interested and I'll step you through.

Actually you should be able to arrow down past the search box on the start
menu. When I arrow down once I come to the Windows Live Mail submenu
followed by MS word and then MS excel etc etc. I believe there are eighteen
items on my start menu.

II know you are not new to computers, been reading your messages for
years, but it seems to me you are like me and are trying to use windows
seven as XP, its different you know. I have now got away from trying to
use windows 7 as XP and am finding it in many ways a lot better than XP.
Rick,
Like you when I first started windows 7 I did not like that. Now I think it
is the best thing since sliced bread. For example if I wanted to defrag I
use to have to go to accessories, system tools and defrag. now just type def

In the registry editor, there are many keys to access. Find these keys in

Make sure to backup the key first using Alt+ F and export the key. Tab over

Yep could not agree more, but it just takes a while to get how it all works,
much quicker
