I have noticed that when arrowing from cell to cell, about 50-70% of the time I would guess, Jaws will not read the cell content. The only way I deal with this is by going back to the cell I want to read. On the second time around Jaws will usually read the cell contents. I've noticed a similar

Within the last couple of JAWS 12 updates, Freedom Scientific has revamped the Excel scripts. They completely changed how they store settings. If you had any personalizations to spreadsheets, such as reading headings, these settings files will make the entire Excel interface not work

You can do this through the menus; Start Menu All Programs JAWS 12 Tools Start JAWS with Eloquence. I think pressing Windows + r, for the Run dialog and typing jaws12 /default, without the quotes, will work as well. This will ignore all user scripts and personalizations for that session.

Type 'change theme' in the search box on the lower left of the window and from there u gotta select 'classic theme'. I had to get sighted assistance to ensure 'classic theme' actually got selected from the list of themes there as JAWS alone didn't allow me to ensure this occurred. Prateek
