I had a quick look on the web, and there seem to be several people havingĀ
problems with conduit.
A solution to the homepage problem which worked for someone was to disable a
conduit add-on which had been installed. To do this:

Thanks for your attention to my problem. I believe it has been solved by
both deleting conduit as the home page in internet options in the control
panel and by deleting all references to it in the add ons tab in IE9, tools,

here's another thing to try. (A bit of an old canard maybe, but hey, it
may work.) Close any non-outlook Express windows that are open and which
you aren't using any more. Sometimes that helps the comp anyway.

the miscellaneous options. From within your game, press insert+6. I don't
know whether your game is on the web or is a separate application. If it is
