Hmmm, cold shutdown?
Never heard of that one before.
I've heard of a cold boot, and a hard, or forced shutdown.

I am about to install jaws on my grandson’s new computer so that I can try and

There is a button that can change the appearance but it does not stick. I think
that there should be a way to make the change permanent.
That first screen is what they call the metro interface. Personally I'm against
it myself.
I admit my windows 8 experience is quite limited and with luck it will stay
that way. I actually managed to skip over Vista fairly well but not completely.

Hi Jim,
Another thing you can try is to set Jaws to read just labeled graphics. You
can do this in quick settings, Insert key + V, for individual applications
or, through the Settings Center default all applications.

You can not create identities in Windows Mail, without a third-party

I suspect you have added another e-mail account, so you will have to create

Also, you will have to remember to choose an account or set one as the

Any file or folder in the temp folder can be safely deleted, as long as it

If there is a file in use, the system will let you know.
Clearing these files alone, will not have a noticeable affect on the speed

Good maintenance habits and some system tweaks
