Had that happen the other day. Couldn't get it back for anything. I
just figured it had something to do with windows 8.1, my wife could see
firefox when i alt-tabbed, but we couldn't interact with it once the
crash started.

This happens occasionally with latest Firefox and Jaws 15 on Win 7. With
Jaws 14 it happened a lot! I used to restart the computer but discovered
that I can use Alt Control Delete to go to task manager and make Firefox
close. Much handier than having to restart the whole computer.

Yes I have experienced this, and in my case the only way to close it is with
tash manager. I have also had a few problems with Internet Explorer 11 not
responding but not as much as with Firefox. Then when I start Firefox again
it wants to restore my last session and I'd rather not do that

Hi
A friend made recommendations on a doc I created in Word 2003 using a yellow

How can I read these changes using Jaws?

Hi Teresa,
Have you tried pressing f5 when you go into the powerpoint? This should bring
up the powerpoint slide show and you should be able to page up and page down to
move between the
slides. To read the associated content on the slide, use the up and down
arrows. This works here using
I just tried f, but nothing happens. If I use the arrows I go to the
different slides, but can't read the text.
Thanks all the same.

Hi, I am changing my antivirus that I use. Someone on this list said they
used Vipre and liked it and that it was accessible. I thought I saved that
email, but alas not. Could whoever uses it write me about it. Thanks. Judy

I don't know how to set JAWS to check for color change. However, insert
plus number
5 gives you the color the cursor is on.

I use it. It works well for me with JAWS 12 and Win. 7. It protects me in
all ways that I need to be protected with an antivirus. It seems to be JAWS
friendly, IMO. Perhaps others can also comment who use it.

Hi Teresa,
Perhaps I was not clear. I meant the f5 function key on your keyboard. This is
the key before the number row.
