I normally just do CTRL shift home, to select from the current location to
the top, but Dennies solution does work, at least for me.

George,
I did that in my music list and it did not unselect.
When you start with 1 using the example I noted earlier with 1, 3 and 5,
since you are focused on 1, it is already selected, so continue holding the
control key and use your down arrow key and when wanting to select another
item, tap spac
Denny,
Even, if you go 10 items down and press shift + home, it will select it from
where you are at to the top.
But, when you press control + C, it does not copy and paste.
Kimsan,
Your command of control + spacebar really unselects, when I was in one of my
music folder.
It did not select, Colon

Yes, if you are selecting one file at a time. But if you want to select
from the middle of a folder to the top, it's control shift home, not control
home. Control shift end from the current file to the end of the folder.

You Can hold down the CTRL key and as you down arrow press spacebar to
select files that way. So, if you have titles of songs 1, 3 and 5, doing
the above will select 1,3 and 5.

I pressed JawsKey+F7 for links and only had 3 links.

Your steps don't seem to work here,
I practice a couple times after selecting to copy and it pasted nothing.
Using wind7 & J14 + 2013.

Not true. Many web sites no longer recognize versions of Internet Explorer
older than IE 9, and will tell you to upgrade to a newer version, which, of
course, is not possible under XP. Fortunately, recent versions of Firefox
are able to access such problematic sites without difficulty. I am

Which browser and version are you running. If you are running IE version
7, you will need to update. With XP you can update to version 8, but no
further. Version 8 should be okay, but that is one of many reasons why
those who use XP really need to upgrade.
