Hi Chris,
Windows 10 will be released in the near future, late July or September
depending on who you listen to, and both Windows 7 and 8.1 will be eligible
for the free upgrade to Windows 10. According to Microsoft, this new release
will reintroduce the old start menu back into Windows, and
Hi Everyone,
I'll be getting a new PC in the near future. Currently, I am using Windows
7, JAWS 15.0.5056, 64 bit.
I think I'll have the choice of getting it with Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
I'm inclining toward getting Windows 7 since that is what I'm accustomed to
using, but I'd
anyone know where the vquarantined folder location for vipre
is I’m using windows 7 if that makes any difference. recently when I did a
scan vipre quarantined some threats but could not delete them from my
computer, so I thought I would delete them myself from the quarantined folder
Try Karen's Replicator.

Hi list
Hi Kevin,
If you want to manually delete items from the Vipre quarantine, start by
pressing enter to select the manage tab in the program. Then tab down a
couple of times to the Advanced Settings tab. It should have a button that
reads Manage quarantine, so press enter on this button. Then
I don't know of any that will do it automatically other than drop box, but
that would be with 2 separate systems. You could try Karons' Replicator or
another backup program.

I have been advised to wait until Windows 10 is released, then get new JAWS.
I was advised that I would not have to learn twice, as I'm currently
crippling along with XP and JAWS 13. So that is my plan - Windows 10 and
will wait until JAWS 17 is out before making purchases.

Hi Kevin,
To get to the Quarantine folder for Vipre 2014 requires you to unhide all

Hi.
You're able to run jaws 15 on windows 8.1. You'll just need an available
authorization for your registration key. If you need to check that, go
to http://fsactivate.com and there should be a link there to check
remaining activations. It will want either your serial number or your

All right, you guys are making this complicated then what it really is! let me
explain how to get to the quarantine folder in both versions of vipre
antivirus. In vipre 2014, you simply open the interface, hit alt V for view,
navagate with your arrow keys, to where it says manage malware, and

Hi Bob,
Noone thinks you are stupid I don't understand how you came to that
assumption because you have a different way of navigating to the Quarantine
folder. Kevin mentioned that by going to the Quarantine option in the main
interface, it was read only, he couldn't delete the entries.
Hi Kimsan,
Do you have the shutdown shortcut located anywhere else other than the
Taskbar? If so, access the properties of that shortcut icon remove the
shortcut keystroke. Otherwise you may have to unpin the shutdown shortcut
from the Taskbar, get the shortcut again place it on the
