Hi all,
I am using J17, Gmail on Outlook 2010 with Win 8.1. I have emails that I
have saved for 1 reason or another and would like to know if I can place a
bookmark at either the last or first email of every month so that I can find
emails faster.
I was hunting 1 today and knew about when it
This is exactly what I mentioned last week Mr. Mike. That line is only a
comment and nothing else.

A complex system that does not work is invariably found to have evolved from
a simpler system that worked perfectly.

George,
I have the same thing chosen, using
Win 7 and JAWS 16. I checked 17 check boxes for updates to be downloaded.
Tab to the OK button. Struck the space bar. What pops up is a get started
button. If I don't strike the get started button, nothing happens with those
17 updates.
However, if
Yes, and I had a phone consultation with John Carson From FS and he could
not get it to work so it has been escalated to their lead Jaws programmer.

Greetings!
I've been lookingd through the focus 14/40 blue braille displays
documentation and not finding the command for alt-tab.
The other sequence is how to go to the search box and right arrow to the
shut-down choice in windows 7 using the braille display.

Yes,
I don't know if it will make a difference, but it's worth a shot.

Hi
In JAWS 16 and earlier, the line ";#pragma usePoFile 0" (without the
quotes), is simply a comment and is ignored when the script is compiled.
But in JAWS 17, FS changed the default format for the compiled JSX file. By
default, any JSX file that was compiled in JAWS 17 will not work in earlier
Argh! I have tried again. I have "download but let me choose when to
install" selected, I tabbed to okay and entered on that. It didn't work
right last week. Hopefully, it will the next time recommended updates come
out.
If nothing else, I'll finally get around to installing jaws 17 and maybe
Hi Brian!
The braille Alt+Tab command is BrailleShift1 +dots4-5.
To get to the Start Menu/Search, Shutdown, the sequence is: dots3-4 chord,
dot6 chord [for Right-Arrow]. [This should bring up the Shutdown menu.]
To get ALL the braille commands; bring up the Keyboard Manager with

Ok gang! What is this message about. Only today has it been popping up. My
wife sees nothing on the screen about it. Jaws has been reading it several

You have to click on the "## optional updates" link in the Windows
Update window. You'll find a reference to the Windows 10 update in
there. Arrow down to it and hit the [Spacebar] to uncheck it. Then
you'll be able to continue with the d/l of the important updates you
really want to get. Even
try using gw control pannel to get rid of the windows 10 stuff before
you go for the updates.
