Now, that's not the problem I've observed. Yours sounds a lot more dramatic.

Yes David, very irritating.
But in my case, it was working well until about last Sunday. I don't even
have to be typing anything, as soon as the computer boots, it starts.
Even when I'm using other programs like mediaplayer it keeps on repeating
"=".

There's a Lenovo Thinkpad (a diffent model however) on my desk at work. It has
a docking station to which an external keyboard, monitor, mouse and braille
display are all connected. I can remove it from its docking station and carry
it, if necessary.
It runs Windows and JAWS as well as any other
I have 2 Lenovos, although not that model but they are a fine lap top
computer. The first came with XP pro that I updated to 7 and then recently
to 10. The second came with 7 pro and I updated it to 10 pro. JAWS does not
have any issues with them at all.

Do you have one? Do you like it? Any issues with JAWS?
Thanks,

At this point Tom, I'm sure that you have gone past the "average" ability
level. On this list, you can't help learning a great deal.
Windows 10 is a friendly environment once it is learned.
Not to worry, Tom. I'm sure that you could navigate it without difficulty.

Yep, I have noticed the same thing with JAWS 15. It usually happens when I am
either reading some packed, or typing. Certain characters like a lowercase I
lowercase L and hyphens or underscores will repeat ad nauseeum him until I move
on to another character. Irritating, and I have no idea what

Hi Tom,
No, w-10 is fairly easy to use after you customize it a bit for Jaws.
Yes there is a slight learning curve, just like for any new version of a
windows opperating system.
Jaws works very well with W-10.
Just follow John and Ed's suggestions, and you will be fine.

Hi list, I’m having a strange issue with JAWS, one I’ve never seen before.
I’m using JAWS 15 and windows 7 32 sp1
Since a few days ago, JAWS keeps repeating “=” after every few seconds, and on
the internet, after entering on each links, it says “flow not found”, but the
link does work.
