If you use the setup wizard you will have a choice to turn it on or leave it
off. Also under quick setting, insert V, it will let you know its status,
pressing spacebar on that setting will toggle it.

Morne:
I believe this is an Outlook problem.
Here are some instructions for keeping unread e-mails listed as unread:
Once in Outlook, go to the view tab.
In the layout menu, click on reading pane.
Choose options from the drop-down menu
Uncheck "mark items as read when selection changes.".
I recently had this same issue .. I called MS help to assist. I don't
remember exactly where it is but it is a setting in Outlook that has to do
with the reading payne being checked or unchecked. The number for MS help
is 1-800-936-5900.

Hi LeDon,
While in Word open quick settings by pressing, Insert / Jaws key + V. type,
Virtual, in the search field, & wait a second for the list to populate.
Arrow down & Jaws will report if the Virtual Ribbons checkbox is checked or
not.
Take care. Mike. Go Dodgers!

This can happen if the preview pane is on. Outlook thinks you have read the
message if it has been displayed in the preview pane.

Hello listers,
Latest version of jfw and Outlook 2013.
I'm not sure if this is a jwf issue, however, I will still ask.
When I open Outlook, jaws says "unread) when standing on a specific message.
When I navigate away from the message, and return to it, jaws doesn't say
"unread"
Good afternoon all;
Does anyone have good instructions on how to create ringtone using iTunes?
If so, it would be much appreciated.

How would one know if the ribbon or the virtual ribbon is in use?
