I said the list would be turned off until next week if you folks wouldn’t stop
that thread about the price of JAWS, well it is so like it or not deal with it.
So long as the list is registered in my name there will be order.

I shutdown this thread several hours ago, I do not want to see any further
discussion on this topic at all. Do I make myself clear boys and girls? FYI
in case there are any smart asses out there that was a rhetorical question.
I am not happy in the least so knock it off now.

Speech isn't needed if you have a braille display. I suppose too you could
use this setting for test purposes, to see if the programme installed
correctly or whatever.

Hi,
There are some users who prefer to rely on braille output rather than speech.
Also for thoughes who are deaf blind this is useful. HTH.

Hi Don,
I don't see that you got an answer to your question, but hopefully you
already have found the solution. My first thought is, are you using
structured mode for braille? I am not sure when it started, but I think it
was Outlook 2010, I had to start using structured mode too see the message

Hi Loy/all,
For one, I usually turn jaws speech off. The answer is that a blind person
can work through a Braille display which in my view, has tremendous
advantages, both for checking spelling etc, and also for being able to work
while listening to music, my vice.
