When you open programs in Office 2013, they by default open to the back
stage view. This is where you can select any number of templates and such to
use if you want to, but it is really just a pain

Unfortunately, Don't show backstage view is checked, computer turned off,
restarted. While it is still checked, backstage view still appears, and I
have to hit Control N to get

Mike, is that Office 2013? I tried it, but it didn't look like that. Then we
worked on some other stuff, so I can't remember all I tried, but I tried Alt
F then O, then Alt F, I, I and Alt F I R
And what in the world is Backstage View?
