Not necessarily. I am running Windows 7 on a Dell Optiflex desktop that has
only 2gb of RAM, and it works just fine, even though the local hard drive has
only 80gb total memory capacity. I don't think adding another 2gb

I would first go to ms config and see what is in your startup list, the more
checked the longer to startup and can run sluggish.
I personally have about 4 items checked in that list of stuff.

MSE, drop box,and I am sure that is all.
