yes i also faced such for several times. to resolve this problem: after
starting your computer. close aim if it starts automatically. then go to
system tray and press on aim then exit aim. now open aim fromm your dextop.
and it will not freeze any more. do it every once after starting your
Hi James. See if you can go an download the latest aim. Also, kill the
process. Go into task manager by using control shift escape. Arrow over to
processes. There's a list view. You're looking for aim.exe delete, hit yes,
then try and either opening aim again, or installing the latest version.
Are you sure you closed AIM? If you cannot get it to close, launch the
Windows Task Manager (Alt-Control-Delete), scroll to AIM on the Applications
tab and tab to the end task button to force it to shut down. Then you
should be able to uninstall it.
