I wouldn't worry about it Betsy. There so many programs up there that I
myself have forgotten at times.

Hi David:
I was able to download the file converter program and it works just fine.
There are lots of programs but if one uses the headings to look, it makes
everything a lot
Lenny- If you use Outlook, I'd say stick with 2003. 2007 is sluggish and
difficult to navigate by comparison. Re the other Office programs, I still
have to hunt in 2007 for things I did without thinking in 2003. If I had a
choice, I'd stick with 2003. HTH

Hi Lenny,
I use office 2003 at work with XP and 2007 at home with Vista, both with
Jaws 10. It seems to me that Jaws works fine with both.

Lenny,
I think JAWS works fine with both versions.
I think the question is more a matter of which Word version you want to
use.
Some of us have upgraded for various reasons, and learned the new ribbon
menus in Office 2007, and find it works very well with JAWS.
But if 2003 is working well for you,

Aloha Lenny,
I haven't seen any reason to upgrade yet, mostly because of the ribbon
learning curve. I don't need more things to learn...grinning.
I just downloaded the Microsoft patch so that I could open 2007 documents
and spreadsheets
