I'm thinking of upgrading from XP to Windows 7. I'm using JAWS 12. I know
people had issues with Vista, so I'm wondering how Windows 7 is working out.
Also, I will probably upgrade to the latest version of Office. How is that
working for people?
Thank you.

Hi
The normal JAWS shutdown command of JAWSKey+F4 gives you a confirmation
message before shutting down JAWS and works fine if JAWS is working
properly. The emergency shutdown command of JAWSKey+Windows+F4 is for those
cases when JAWS is not working properly and won't respond to the normal JAWS

You should have told me it was for Vista, I figured you were running XP. Now
I don't have a Vista system but I do have a windows 7 box only a little over
a month old. I could do the tutorial over focusing on that operating system
which is some what different, but the part where jaws itself is
One way i do it is placing one finger on the insert key, and my thumb on the
windows key and another finger on the F4 key. so, one hand using one finger
