[JAWS-Users] accessible dice roler
Does anyone know of an accessible dice roler for d and d? Justin For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] accessible dice roler
I don't really play nowadays and haven't in a long time. But after reading your question and thinking first that this could be easily done in Windows Powershell on your machine, I then thought, crap, there's probably lots of stuff on the web that can do this. And, indeed, there is. Try this. Seems straightforward, although I'm not really sure what the radio buttons do? https://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm Experiment with it. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List On Behalf Of Justin Williams Sent: July 13, 2018 10:51 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] accessible dice roler Does anyone know of an accessible dice roler for d and d? Hi I recently added a 2nd administrator account to a Windows 10 1803 computer When I am logged onto that account and navigate into a folder, I can use first letter navigation to find the file I want and press enter to open it. But when I am logged onto the new User account and navigate into a folder, when I press a key for first letter navigation, a search box appears containing that character. So I can't just press enter to open that file. So are there settings which will make first letter navigation in the new user account work like it does in the first user account? Re: [JAWS-Users] How to enable first letter navigation when you're in a folder?
Cheers, Mike; glad you got it sorted. I remembered this because I was poking around in the various folder settings recently trying to get everything to display in the same view, and have also been taking advantage of the search box. The search box in file explorer is great, but yeah, sometimes you just want first navigation, so really, you should have both available to you! -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List On Behalf Of Mike O'Brien Sent: July 13, 2018 9:20 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] How to enable first letter navigation when you're in a folder? Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem opening links that are in some email messages
The problem is that the URL of your link is to long for the older program. You can use the application button and go up to get the URL and you will be able to follow the link. The links in those emails open fine if I change the default browser to Firefox. But I would rather keep Internet Explorer as my default browser until Edge is working well with JAWS. Re: [JAWS-Users] obtaing one's jaws key
Hi James, You can try the steps for getting your code I've pasted below, but these steps for getting your authorization code didn't work on my Windows 10 system, so you might have to call Freedom Scientific / VFO and they will tell you your code. Their phone number is: 1-800-444-4443 Code retrieval steps: From: Gene Warner Hi Everyone! Ignore my previous question, I found it, and in doing so, may have found a way for Adam to get his full authorization code, at least it worked for me. This will only work on an already activated copy of JAWS. Steps: 1. If you're running Jaws from the system tray, press the JAWS key + the J key, for me it is Insert+J, to open the Jaws context menu. 2. Go to the help sub menu. 3. Go to the Update authorization option 4. You'll get a dialog with several buttons, click the Start Authorization button. 5. In this dialog, choose manual activation, then click next. 6. In this next dialog there is a read only field with your locking code, and two input fields, one has your entire authorization code, the other is for your license code or serial number. 7. Copy the authorization code, then cancel out of the dialog. hth Cheers! Gen Take Care. Mike. Go Dodgers! Sent from my iBarstool. Re: [JAWS-Users] skype scripts - please ignore previous message
Hi Takes, First of all I went and look at the web page you suggested. I believe you are using a version of Skype for the desktop computer. The scrips the way I understand it is for Skype UWP which I believe is different. I am using the Classic Skype version 7 and you have version 8. The scrips he has if for Skype version UWP 12. So if someone can correct me if I am wrong cause I might not understand it. I do not understand that there is more than one version of Skype. So like I said if someone can explain this I would really appreciate it as I do not want to download the wrong Skype version or the wrong scrips.
