Hi
Personally, I enjoy norton's
360. Yes, a person does have to use the JAWS courser to handle several of
the functions when one is setting it up. However, once that is done one
can pretty much ignore it. So, the worries about changing settings... are
only something a person might do once
IMO, Symantec products are not what they used to be. Probably good for
an enterprise situation for not the average user.
It's such an invasive piece of software, and I'm trying to be nice!
Vipre antivirus from Sunbelt is worth a look; works with JAWS.

Unfortunately, Solona is no longer functioning. Apparently, its creator,
Bernard Maldonado, has fallen ill, and there are no other human operators
available to solve captchas. So right now, Webvisum is the only captcha
solving option available, and the captcha option in Qwitter is useless.
Hi.
In office 2003, I could go to the file menu, and press enter on Open as html...
I'm talking about Microsoft Word.
With this feeture, I can open a word file in IE.
Can some one help me and tell me how to do it with Office 2007 and Office 2010?
Thank you very much and have a nice day,
Adi.

Hi:
I installed Outlook 2010 but had to uninstall it due to problems reading

When I opened a message I couldn't navigate/read the message body using the

But if I routed JAWS to PC I could read the message with the JAWS cursor.

Kimsan,
Not sure why that is. My latest JAWS12 and Eloquence says DotDotDot, if
punctuation is set to all, or some, and for a proper ellipsis it says
ellipsis. Now, do you mean that when you arrow character by character it
says period period period? (that is the default.) because, in SayAll,

Unless you hear the message operator on duty, Solona is not available to

Bummer. Looks like IE users have no option now and would totally depend upon

No, jaws works perfectly with outlook 2010, except you can't hear the change
of the send from account. Just turn off your preview pain, and uncheck to
show in groups. Unless you like seeing your messages in conversation.
After you do these 2 things, you should be able to read email just fine.
Yep, it sure looks that way. Unless you install Firefox with the Webvisum
add-on, you will have to rely on sighted help or hope the web site has an
audio captcha that is comprehensible, which is rarely the case.

Mark,
I'm not sure I follow your thought. Norton 360 is set up and works fine for
a sighted person without Jaws. I find that even if I run QuickScan everyday,
it still picks up several tracking cookies. And, my system seems to run
faster by doing this. So, are you saying that I could use the

Stewart,
You could just go into JAWS and turn off automatic forms mode, or you
could also change the sound. I don't know if there is an option to
have no sound.

Hello-
I am using Windows 7 with JAWS 11 and Outlook 2007. I have been asked to
print a copy of a particular e-mail to bring into my school. I opened the

Hi Stewart;
Try this to see if sounds are turned on in Forms mode in the configuration
manager.
1. Press jaws key, + 6 on the number row to open the configuration manager.
2. Control, shift, + D, to open the default configuration manager.
3. Alt + S, to open the Set Options menu.
4. Arrow down
If this is all you will do with such expensive and advanced software, better
use free or cheaper one.

Yes there is. Just go into config manager and Frms Mode options and
uncheck the checkbox to use sound indicators. With sounds turned off,
jaws 10 an later will just announce forms mode on or formsmode
off like earlier versions of jaws regardless of whether or not auto
forms mode is turned on.

The fastest way to run a quick
