If you install jaws inside the windows vm it will only partially work.
You will likely get the video intercept error message when you start
jaws and all the related issues from this not being installed.

If you go to www.adobe.com there is a link right there on that page that
says something like Adobe Flash Player for 64 bit systems. If you click
on that, and read the page, it says that flash player isn't supported in
64 bit browsers on 64 bit systems, use a 32 bit browser, or go to
I am also using Jaws 12. I have XP with Outlook Express on my home computer
and Windows 7 on my laptop. I am trying to retrieve my Charter E-mail with
my laptop when traveling. I appreciate the help. I was able to get to the
step with the x. When I press x it says there are no check boxes.
There is an XP Mode which can be run in a virtual machine within Windows 7,
that is why I asked the question.

There is no way past it.
Jaws doesnt support the environment. The environment doesnt have true
graphics drivers so the video intercept will not go in properly.
Its time to look at the reasons for why your wanting to run XP in a
virtual environment and find a solution for that instead.
Bob
There certainly is, it is in Win 7 Pro or Ultimate.
But, I couldn't get it to work with Jaws when I tried it a couple months
ago.

There is a service called mail2web at
www.mail2web.com
that can retrieve emails. Each email wil have a checkbox, and you enter
on the email to read it. You give it your email address and your ISP
password. in a minute or so it comes back with your emails. you can also
delete unwanted emails
On the laptop, in your mail program, go to Accounts and add your e-mail
account to this computer. if it is a googlemail account, there will be one
additional thing to do but won't confuse you with that unless it is. Then,
when you open mail on the laptop, it should retrieve your mail.
Why don't you call charter and see what they can do for you getting
your email out of town.
All providers have second web pages to get there email when the main
pages goes down. They can also setup any email client they support
and live mail is easy if you got the info.
All FS knows is jaws.
Hello Teresa,
I am wondering if using JAWS 12 with the RC version of Internet Explorer 9
beta has improved the accessibility to the Charter site. I remember having
the same kind of problems that you have experienced when I used IE 8. The
site was quite inaccessible. It does seem to be working
Hi List,
I experience serious interruptions of downloads of large files especially
from Sendspace. I've been advised to try Flashget which is a free download
manager to enable me to resume interrupted downloads.
Is there any lister who can advise me on the accessibility of this programme
Hi Derick,
Perhaps you may want to consider getting a sendspace max account and
download with the sendspace wizard, where you could resume all
downloads, even after a power failure?
Present cost is $9 per month, $35 for six months, or $55 per annum.
Regards,
Riana
