Hey Gang,
I'm running Jaws 8, and Xp.
When I open up a new email Jaws only says edit, jaws isn't saying to, cc,
or subject line, and when I tab to the body, and I type something Jaws
will not read it back to me, it keeps on saying blank.
I've maximize the window, but that didn't help.

Hi
Can JAWS 11 work with IE 9 ?
I installed IE 9 on my Windows 7 Enterprise laptop this morning. After
doing so, I could no longer hear JAWS saying, Check box unchecked or
Check box checked.
Example :
In IE 8 :
Check box unchecked Yes 1 of 2
Check box unchecked No 2 of 2

You might try looking in folder options and show all files.

Hi
I must admitĀ that IE 9 does have
some differences that I haven't sorted out yet. I have it running on my
two backup computers. However, one of the main websites I have to use
requires that I do some work with the JAWS cursor and in IE 8 I am able to
find the text with the JAWS cursor
Dear Patti,
This happened to me a couple of times in the past when I accidentally locked
my left mouse key, the one next to the num lock key.
Insert left mouse key will act as a toggle.
I suppose it is worth a try for you.

Sorry you had difficulty removing it. I did not but I'm using XP Pro- which
may make the difference.

Hi,
our highly intelegent list owner mr. Farin did a tetorial on something I
don't remember what it was but while he was checkboxing around and such, I
kept hearing knocking sounds and other sounds.
My question would be how did he do this?
Any instructions would be great, thanks...
For answers
I hope jfw 11 works with ie9 b/c I downloaded it. Yeah, save is the same
way. To open or save a file, I have to mouse click and route cursors and go
to the top to click the buttons.

I don't think FS can fix this.
Its probably something with IE 9 using 2D tech, in other words, sending the
website right to the PC's videocard.

Hi guys:
I have a quick question.
I've decided to run NVDA (I'll be getting JFW 11 soon) with Win 7 on my Mac via

My questions are these:

Check out Eric Damery's tutorial on the speech and sounds manager which if

Wow, if you can chage that it will be nice, but so so wierd because I'm so
used to having to try and get all the keys pressed. It'll be wierd not
pressing it. But, easier overall.
I think I am on my way. I couldn't find the tetorial and I am not going to
make any calls. I was fiddling around and I believe I know where I should
begin. I'm just not going to start it tonight because I am not feeling well
and I am tired.
Thanks to Dave farin and Patty for the responses.
