Try the VCC redistrubutable maybe?
Maybe completely remove JAWS after backing up your settings and then re-install?

Hi list, I upgraded from windows7 to windows10 back on Tuesday. I used the
FS uninstall tool prior to upgrading. Which removed my older versions of
Jaws and left me with both Jaws16 and Jaws17. For the most part Jaws does
seem to be working okay. However, I keep getting the following error
Just now, Jaws locked up, so when I restarted, I get a screen asking if I
want to send a report to FS, must be something new here?
I didn't dl new jaws or anything yet.

Just a few minutes ago, running Jaws 14.0 beta 2. I got the following error.
After that, Jaws got really sluggy. Has anyone seen this?

This is regarding an error message I receive when I reboot Jaws. I am
using Jaws v13 but I have seen this issue with prior versions.
Occasionally, I get the following error messages

I have also occasionally seen the message about JAWS in 40-minute mode. for
me, it's usually after a bad shutdown or crash. As long as JAWS when shut
down then restarts right again, that is the main thing.
