I suffer from the same problem whenever I dare to change any hardware on my
win7 PC or laptop. For examble, I connected a second hard drive and
immediately jaws was in demo mode. I also added a second sound
to have that problem.

When this happens the first thing you should do is reboot the computer. This
will often correct the problem.

got my new computer last December. I keep up to date on paying for jaws and
Magic upgrades although I don't always choose to update the programs.
