press windows key then type disk manager. If you are using windows 10

Now select the drive then press shift + F10 arrow down to change drive
letter. press enter. If you see a drive letter

Lenny,
This has happened to me. Try this:
Disconnect the drive via your USB cable.
Shut down your computer.
Start up your computer and wait until you get to the desktop
last saw that drive.
